Meet Nichole

NorthWest Indiana photographer

For the first ten years of my life, I was carefree in South Carolina. I was probably standing among the tallest pine trees, brewing a delectable dirt stew in one of the stumps, or gorging on a giant bag of freshly boiled peanuts from a roadside stand. Maybe I was standing by the neighbor’s fence, breathing in the wonderful scent of blooming honeysuckle. Most likely, I was taking pictures of anything and everything with my Barbie disposable camera.

As I got older, I kept photographing life as I moved from place to place. Over time, it became less about capturing moments for myself and more about sharing them, and I lost some of the joy I once had in it.

Eventually, I went back to school and found my way back to photography, rediscovering what I loved about it in the first place.

Now I’m based in the Midwest with my wife, Elise, continuing to grow and create. The biggest difference now is that my camera is a lot bigger—and the joy I want to capture is yours.
